AT ETERNITY'S GATE, directed by JULIAN SCHNABEL, is an exploration of the painter Vincent van Gogh's final days, told through the singular perspective of another painter. In the film, WILLEM DAFOE shows us the world through Vincent's eyes as he confronts loneliness, madness, desire for community, his emotional and volatile friendship with fellow artist Paul Gauguin and his dependency on his loving younger brother, Theo.
